Community Storytime: Experience Unique Tales at Charles Town Library

The Charles Town Library has been very fortunate to be able to bring a number of community members into the library for a very special kind of story time.

Most recently, Shelley Manley, a high school counselor at Washington High School, who also runs PAL Around Pony School, read a number of stories featuring ponies and talked about what it is like to be around, take care of and ride ponies. We have also hosted a police officer, the Jefferson County clerk, the county’s prosecuting attorney, a landscaper and others who not only read stories, but tell their own to the gathered little ones.

If you would like to bring your story to the library, please contact Brian at the library at ctlreads@ctlibrary.org. We appreciate the diverse experiences of all of our residents and hope to share them with the children who visit the library every day.
