
Charles Town Library is a non-profit public library located in the heart of Charles Town and Ranson, WV. We are a central library hub for Jefferson County, serving approximately half of the county’s population.
We are proud to serve Jefferson County and continue to grow and develop as our patrons do. Please stop in and get acquainted! Parking:
Patrons of the Charles Town Library and Jefferson County Museum are welcome to free parking in the following areas:
- Street parking in the 200 block of East Washington Street. We do ask use of these spaces be limited to two hours or less as some patrons need easy access to the Library from their cars.
- Shared parking lot between the Charles Town Library and the Charles Town Presbyterian Church, which is accessed from East Liberty Street.
- There is metered parking on the Samuel Street side of the Library, which also has handicapped parking for easy access to the Museum.
- We ask that Library and Museum patrons do not park in the gravel lot behind the Library. These spaces are reserved for Library and Museum staff only.
