The Charles Town Library is now open with limited capacity, with early access – 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. – for high-risk patrons
Because of the need to social distance, the library will be limited to eight people at a time. We encourage you to continue to use our Porch Side service whenever possible.
You may wish to come into the library to browse, send a fax, have copies made, etc. We suggest no more than a half hour be spent in the library so that others may have access. However, during this phase of reopening, the public restroom will be closed and there will be no seating.
To use the public access computers, an appointment will be required. To maintain social distancing, only five computers will be available: two with Microsoft Office, and three for internet access only. When you make your appointment, please tell us what you need so you may be assigned a computer meeting your needs. Computer use is limited to 30 minutes, once a day.
Face masks are mandatory to enter the library. You wear a mask for both your safety and the safety of the staff. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you.
Before coming into the library please use the hand sanitizer available in the lobby.
