October Art Installation & Gallery Talk

How many of us have been touched or grieved by breast cancer? The bodice project, focusing on breast cancer healing, provides a pathway to acceptance and celebration of bodies in the aftermath of cancer. Conceived in 2014, the bodice project is the brain-child of Shepherdstown artist and activist, Cynthia Fraula-Hahn. The Charles Town Library will exhibit a small number of bodices from the project during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Gallery Talk – A gallery talk about the bodice project and specifically what is on exhibition at CTL will take place at 5:30 p.m. on the October 11th.
