TBC Kick-Off & Planning Meeting

August is here and that means that the Teen Book Club will be starting up again.  We’re going to have a planning meeting on the 15th.  Details are below. I’ve picked a book for September, but hope that the books from October on will be selected by the group.

2018-2019

KICK-OFF & PLANNING MEETING

AUGUST 15, 2018

5:00 – 6:00 P.M.

Join us!

  • Share what you’ve read and enjoyed over the summer and what books you’re looking forward to reading.
  • Meet new people. We’ve had a lot of interest from new people this summer.
  • Bring title suggestions for the book club (books must be available in paperback format)

September’s Book Discussion will be:

The Girl from Everywhere by Heidi Heilig

I will have copies on hand at the meeting if you were not able to pick one up from me earlier. The Girl from Everywhere was our book selection for June, but the meeting was canceled due to no attendees. Thought this would be a great book to start with since several already have it.

Epic Reads created a great little video book trailer about The Girl from Everywhere.  You can see it below:

See you on the 15th!  Please send me a quick email to let me know if you will be attending and if you have a copy of The Girl from Everywhere.  If you have any friends that might be interested, please bring them too.

To RSVP or if you have any questions, please email me at ctlreads@ctlibrary.org.
