WHAT IS A TUNNEL BOOK? IS IT A BOOK?
The Charles Town Library will host an exhibition of tunnel books created by Shepherdstown Middle School sixth grade art students. Under the guidance of Shepherdstown Middle School resident artist, Liz Goins, students explored the idea of the physical book, how we interact with a book, whether a physical book can tell a story without text and the ultimate questions of whether a physical book remains important in the digital age?
Please join the students for an opening reception on Thursday, 3 May, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Resident artist, Liz Goins, will give a brief gallery talk about the process of making tunnel books at 6:00 p.m.
